Olivia Leisk

Olivia Leisk is a soulful young talent from London described by the London Paper as "Amy Winehouse crossed with Brand New Heavies" - more modern funk than Amy's retro vibe, but still with a "knockout" voice." Since the creation of her EP "Everything I've learnt About Men So Far" she has had a huge following with a number of jam packed gigs, involving her singing away with her baby piano and funky band and writing with the likes of Paul McCartney . Olivia won £10,000 in a songwriting competition called GoBusker. She has also enjoyed be a featured artist on myspace music, the hookup and UK Soul and is being played on Soul Unsigned digital radio and DJ B's 1xtra show! She has appeared and performed on BBC Merseyside, Radio City, been featured in the London Paper and the South London Guardian and TV and radio shows in Malta including Tony Moore's "Lets Talk Music". In the summer of 2009 Olivia will be promoting 6 new songs including "Appetite" "What Would You Like To Do" and "Speak2U". After performing at the London Week of Peace 2008 alongside Jay Sean, Natty, Steve Appleton and N-Dubz Olivia is continuing her live performances doing gigs around London and is planning to do a national tour this year. Olivia's tracks are in the process of joining itunes and "I'll Be Fine" is to be featured in the music week compilation. Her influences include Ella Fitzgerald, Michael Jackson, Alicia Keys, Luther Vandross, Michael Buble, Renee Olstead and so many more!
