WIRED is a live music of event held in the uber-trendy district of Shorditch that showcases some of the best UK music in London. Headed by lovely Cordless presenter Kate Bond and Michael Duke, one of the show's first acts, the have had a number of great acts perform at the monthly event, increasing its popularity over time.

On 2nd November WIRED The Best Of... hosted by Kate Bond was an amazing night with performances from Cordless' Master Shortie and Cherri V among others. Sadly, Michael Duke who was on tour with the Thriller learned that his brother Daniel had been shot and died from gunshot wounds that day.

Michael Duke has decided courageously turned this tragedy into a potential for a good cause and inspiration to help others in similar situation to his departed brother. The next WIRED event will be held in memory of Daniel Duke with all proceeds going to Kids Co. Last year Kids Co. helped young people live crime-free lives, stop substance abuse and return to education, training and employment.

If you're free on 1st February 2010 then make your way down to Shorditch House, London for a night of true UK music and relax in the knowledge that simply in being there you are helping to make a difference to the lives of young people.
