Cordless Live Residency Review
05/10/2009 21:24:06

Back and boasting a better line up than any unsigned live music night in town, The Cordless Show was proud to present the return of its university tour. With award-winning funky man of the moment Gracious 'Migraine Skank' K, headlining the night. The queue extending from the entrance to the London Metropolitan student bar was literally itching with excitement. For just £3, the girls and boys of the university and surrounding areas made their way into the bar and gathered at the front of the stage as the Cordless Show hosts Jassy 'Hot Chilli' Grez and circuit comedian Little Man entertained with improvised comedy, unrehearsed singing and a brief introduction to the line-up.
The night's guests made their way from the bar to watch each talented act perform one after another. In running order appeared Hugo Boss Urban Rules winner XO Man, rising star and 2010 one-to-watch Bluey Robinson, Alexander O'Neil support act and vocally blessed Kyra, and headline artist Gracious K. Generating a warm and lengthy round of applause from all members of the audience, each act gave no less than 100% (and they were right to with major label A&Rs in the building! After the live music, the DJ span away as the night went on, and people got down on the dance floor.
